Welcome to Blue Ridge, Georgia
Get to know Blue Ridge, Georgia
You’ve just come across one of the most beautiful and conveniently located areas in the Blue Ridge mountains. Welcome to Blue Ridge, Georgia. Our friendly mountain community was founded in 1887 when just one year prior the “Marietta and Northern Railroad” came to Fannin County. As a result of the railroad, the town flourished.
The golden age of railroads is long past, but thanks to the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, you and your children can still ride the same spectacular route beside the Toccoa River where steam engines rumbled over a hundred years ago.
Welcome to Historic Blue Ridge, Georgia – a place you won’t want to leave.

If you are looking for entertainment, look no
further than Blue Ridge Community Theater. We have performances all year
round. Our Main Stage productions are a selection of plays, different
every season, chosen from comedies, dramas, musical comedy and one-man
shows. All though the Main Stage productions fill most of the years, it
does not completely fill it. So, we bring Live Music, which are
professional musical acts. They fill in during the weeks when Main Stage
is not performing. There are from one to three different performances
each month. In addition, our Sunny D’s Children Theater has their summer
acting camp and two children’s theater productions each year. And if
that is not enough, we invite other plays and performances from around
North Georgia to add to schedule. For more detailed information on our
performances, dates, time and ticket information, visit our website at:
